Microsoft Insiders Sell Into Buyback (John Mugarian's Dynamic Growth)

On July 20th, Microsoft beat analysts' earnings estimates for its fourth quarter and announced plans to buy back $20 billion in stock through a tender offer that is be completed on Aug. 17.

Bill Gates donates a lot of money to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to fight HIV, malaria, and tuberculosis in Third World countries. Gates even talked Warren Buffett into donating $37 billion to the cause.

I think helping a health crisis in Third World countries is a noble cause, but what about using the money to find a cure for cancer, or helping the millions of Americans who do not have health insurance.

Heck, executives get their stock and options for free; why go to Africa and help the needy when you have millions of needy people here at home.
